This Semi-Fitted GAD consists of a Hemp French Terry outer and a Bamboo Velour inner. There are no closures on this diaper, so you will need to use a Snappi or pins (Some people like to just lay the terry loops inside a snug fitting cover). Gentle lastin elastic at the legs and back to keep those messes inside the diaper. Buttonhole-style pocket opening in the back for an insert.
 
Semi-Fitted GADs are especially nice for newborns because if you stuff the insert in so that there is a space between the insert and the top of the diaper, you can fold the top of the diaper down. This helps to keep the umbilical cord dry since there is no wet diaper touching that sensitive area.
