My 10 month old LOVES this toy. He got his froggie as a Christmas gift and sleeps with him every night and every nap. He snuggles up and falls right asleep. As far as a teether, he really has only chomped on him a couple of times. He'd rather just snuggle. I went to purchase another one so we could switch them out occasionally and ordered from Pureinfant. I was unaware that the froggie they sell is a 9" frog. My son has the 7" version. There is no where on the website saying that this frog is 9" long. It would have been nice to know that there is a size difference and which one they sold. It is going to be hard to switch the two. Just be aware if you are purchasing the actual size of the toy.
